Baby's Back: Dirty Dancing To Get TV Remake

The classic 1980s film Dirty Dancing is to be remade for television, the US network ABC has revealed.

The three-hour special will star Abigail Breslin as Baby Houseman, the role that propelled Jennifer Grey to stardom.

Breslin was nominated for her starring role in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine.

The names of other cast members have not yet been revealed and there is great excitement about who will star as dance instructor Johnny, a role that the late Patrick Swayze made his own.
