Dwight Yorke describes Memphis Depay's back pass header as 'the worst ever'

United's 2-0 defeat to the Potters represents their fourth consecutive loss; a run of form which has led one prominent bookmaker to pay out on bets for Louis van Gaal to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

United fell behind a mere twenty minutes into the the game when Memphis Depay's attempted back pass to David de Gea allowed Xherdan Shaqiri to steal in and pull the ball back for Bojan Krkic to poke Stoke in front.

Memphis Depay was culpable for Stoke's first goal

Speaking at half time in the Sky Sports studio, Dwight Yorke unleashed a damning assessment of Depay's ill-fated defending.

"Memphis Depay's header is the worst diving header I've ever seen," said Yorke.

"You have to deal with those situations better, he has to be more decisive," Yorke added.

First half goals from Marko Arnautovic and Bojan Krkic handed Stoke a two goal lead at a blustery Britannia stadium.

Louis van Gaal is reportedly fighting for his future at Manchester United

"I can't believe what my eyes are seeing. I'm seeing a Manchester United team with no spark and no desire," said Yorke.

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, joined the droves of disgruntled Manchester United fans on Twitter at half time.

Ferdinand has been out-spoken in his criticism of Manchester United's current form and admitted he was not surprised by the score at the Britannia.

"I'm not even surprised, that's what hurts even more," Ferdinand tweeted.

One bookmaker has taken the decision to pay out on bets for Louis van Gaal to be the next Manchester United manager to be sacked after Stoke's 2-0 win consigned United to their fourth consecutive defeat; their third consecutive Premier League loss.
