There are some sick kicks at The Masters

KEEGAN Bradley hasn’t played particularly well in recent years. He hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since 2012 and only has four top-three finishes in the past four years. Regardless of the way he’s performing on the course, he’s always one guy fans look for.

Why? Because of his shoes.

Bradley is a Jordan athlete and always has the best shoes on tour week in and week out. At the Masters on Thursday, he debuted a never-before-seen pair with “45” stamped on the side — Michael Jordan’s number when he returned to the NBA in 1995.

Meanwhile Rory McIlroy is paying tribute to Kobe Bryant.

McIlroy, a Nike athlete like Bryant, is wearing special black-and-gold shoes to honour the retiring NBA star with “4/13” written on them, which is the day of the final Lakers game — and the last of Bryant’s illustrious career.

McIlroy’s tribute to Bryant is all a part of Mamba Day on April 13 with several Nike athletes honouring No. 24 in the week leading up to his final game.

McIlroy is all about custom gear at Augusta this week, as he’s also using a new Nike golf ball with “RM5” below the green camouflage swoosh. The five signifies McIlroy’s chase for a fifth major.
