Radiohead have revealed they were asked to write a song for Spectre before the task was eventually handed to Sam Smith.
It is not clear why their track, which they have released for free on Soundcloud, did not make it into the 26th Bond film.
The band had been favourites to perform the theme song after the bookies received a £15,000 bet.
However, it was Sam Smith who did the honours with Writing's On The Wall.
