Swords Out In Crouching Tiger Sequel Trailer

The trailer for the much-anticipated sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has been released.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny is the follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2000 international hit.

The movie is directed by famed fight choreographer Yuen Woo-Ping. It brings back Michelle Yeoh and also stars Donnie Yen and Harry Shum Jr.

Shum said getting a role in the film and then beginning filming was a whirlwind.

"It was one of those situations where I jumped on a plane two days before I found out to New Zealand so the train just kind of went and looking back it's really incredible to kind of look at the footage and the trailer and seeing all the work that we all kind of put together.

"So I'm incredibly excited and hopefully the fans of the original and people watch it."

The first film was directed by Ang Lee and became a surprise global success, taking $213.5m on a $17m budget.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny will hit Netflix and IMAX cinemas in February next year and will be on wide release in China.
