Lady Gaga performed a medley of David Bowie's hits at the 58th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in a tribute to the star, who died earlier this year.
She opened the performance dressed as Ziggy Stardust, complete with newly-dyed red hair, singing Space Oddity.
She then broke into Changes, Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City, Rebel Rebel, Fashion, Fame, Let's Dance and Heroes.
Gaga received a standing ovation from the crowd at the end as she embraced Chic's Nile Rodgers, one of Bowie's producers who joined her for the performance.
Eagles musician Glenn Frey, who died last month, was honoured with a special tribute by his bandmates and friend Jackson Browne, who performed Take It Easy at the show.
Hot on the heels of his first Grammy win, Justin Bieber performed an acoustic version of Love Yourself.
He then threw his guitar to the floor and ran to another stage to perform Where Are U Now with Skrillex and Diplo, with whom he scooped the best dance recording award for the song.
Adele was accompanied by a pianist for her performance of All I Ask from her album 25, which was plagued by some sound issues early on.

Rihanna was conspicuous by her absence after cancelling her performance at the ceremony.
"So sorry I couldn't be there," she tweeted. "Thanks Grammys and CBS for your support tonight."
The singer, who was expected to perform Kiss It Better from her newly-released album Anti, pulled out on doctor's orders due to bronchitis, Billboard reported.
Stevie Wonder read from a Braille card as he announced Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran as song of the year.
Sheeran's friend Taylor Swift, who was also nominated in the category for her hit Blank Space, leapt to her feet and cheered as his name was announced before he ran over to embrace her.
Collecting his first ever trophy, Sheeran thanked his parents, saying: "They have flown over the past four years to come to the Grammys and every time they go: 'Maybe next year!"'
Taylor Swift's 1989 was named album of the year.
Lead Grammy nominee Kendrick Lamar received a standing ovation as he collected the best rap album award for To Pimp A Butterfly from fellow Compton rapper Ice Cube.
Lamar, who had 11 nods in all, had already scored four awards in the pre-broadcast ceremony, including one for his collaboration with Swift on Bad Blood, which won best music video.
Collecting his gramophone trophy, Lamar said: "This is for hip hop, Ice Cube, this is for Snoop Dogg, this is for Nas, we will live forever, believe that."
The ceremony was opened by Swift with the first TV performance of Out Of The Woods from 1989.
