THIS is the shocking moment a mass brawl broke out between five women on a plane.
The fight is believed to have started when two women allegedly got drunk and started playing music on a boom box, The Sun reports.
Three other women are believed to have demanded the pair turn the music off, with video footage showing how the confrontation quickly descended into vicious punches being thrown.
The fight broke out on a Spirit Airlines flight from Baltimore to Los Angeles.
Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry said several customers asked the women to turn down the music, but they refused, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Instead, they asked: “What are you going to do?”
“Then to provoke the other customer they were holding up their boom box in the air, waving it around,” Mr Berry said.
In response to the provocation, three women approached the pair — at which point a fight broke out.
Mobile phone footage shows one women knocked to the floor while her friend throws punches at a woman sat in a seat.
Hair is pulled as the women clamber over one another to land punches.
Police described the fight as a “mutual combat situation” and called the FBI to investigate. Nobody has been charged over the incident.
