JURGEN Klopp returned to Borussia Dortmund and his Liverpool team impressed in a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final.

Divock Origi opened the scoring in the first period, but the hosts hit back right at the start of the second half via captain Mats Hummels.

In an entertaining opening leg, the Premier League outfit had a couple of other great chances, only to be thwarted by goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.
