A MAN has been shot in an early morning attack in Southportby a person police believe he knew.
The man was shot about 1.20am at a property in Sungold Ave.
The 32-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Gold Coast University Hospital with what is believed to have been a non-life threatening injury to his shoulder.
A crime scene has been established at the address.
Investigations are continuing however, police say, it is believed that the victim and the offender were known to each other.
