One of Judy Garland's famous dresses from The Wizard Of Oz has sold for more than £1m at auction.
The blue and white chequered pinafore and blouse exceeded expectations and went for $1.56m (£1,032,000) at Bonhams in New York.
It is thought to be one of 10 made for the iconic 1939 film and was described as having sweat stains around the neck, but in good condition.
The dress was made to make 17-year-old Garland look closer in age to the Dorothy character, who was 12.
It was sold by a private collector and the auction house did not comment on the buyer's identity.
The Cowardly Lion costume from the movie last year sold for nearly $3.1m (£2m).
