HOTEL maids, restaurant staff and front desk clerks have spilled the beans on what they really get up to at work.
They have revealed some of their most disgusting secrets from sloppy cleaning habits to listening in on your bedroom antics and even on what they do to get revenge on rude guests.
Confessions were made anonymously using the app Whisper — which allows users to post their secrets without having to reveal their identity.

Front desk employees admitted they often assign rooms to guests based on how friendly they are.
A ruthless desk clerk wrote: ‘If your [sic] nice I might give you an upgrade or do up and beyond my normal duties but if your [sic] rude it is what it is or I’ll rip you off.’
One revealed: “If you’re cool at check in, I’ll hook you up (room upgrade, drinks, free breakfast).
“But if you’re mean, you’re getting a room by the elevator with no view.”

Another admitted: “When guests annoy me I deactivate their key cards for the inconvenience.”
One user wrote: “Sometimes when people call to make a reservation I tell them we are booked because I’m too lazy to make the reservation for them.”

It turns out, sometimes your beds aren’t even cleaned during your stay.
One hotel maid shockingly revealed: ‘Sometimes I don’t strip the beds and put on new sheets, I just remake the bed and take off the hairs with a [lint] roller. Cuts my time in half on cleaning the rooms.’

Room service is one of the most comforting and expensive amenities at a hotel, but it turns your food is for sharing.
One said: “We never bring or buy lunch, because we pick off of the plates before they go up.”
Staff also shared some of the horrible conditions they work in.
One worker said: ‘I work in the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen.
“Dead bugs everywhere on a daily basis. I think the building should be demolished. But I’m too broke to leave yet.’
