Paris Attacks Band 'Speechless' At Brit Nod

The US rock band who were caught up in the November terror attacks in Paris have said they are "speechless" at being nominated for a Brit Award.

The band, who were on stage at the Bataclan Theatre when the gunmen attacked, are up against U2 in the international group category.

Band members paid an emotional visit to the Bataclan last month

After their Brit Awards nomination was announced, Eagles Of Death Metal tweeted: "We are speechless. #BRITs Gigantic thanks to the @brits and to you all."

Frontman Jesse Hughes also tweeted his thanks, saying the nomination was "so amazing".
