How United can win
By maintaining the more intensive style of attacking play they adopted in the first half of the recent game against Chelsea. That first-half performance was - relatively speaking - a return to the United of old, pushing their opponents deep into their own half with swift, incisive passing, playing at pace and exploiting the flanks. Juan Mata was exceptional in a more liberated role: he should be licking his lips at facing Swansea.

How Swansea can win
By throttling United's more creative influences, most notably Mata and Anthony Martial, and keeping the ball. Swansea have kept clean sheets in their last three games by adopting a more cautious style of play and for all United's woes this season, they should repeat the trick at Old Trafford.
