A bug caused travel apps to say that all London Underground lines were closed this morning.
Confused commuters bombarded Transport for London (TfL) Twitter accounts with messages asking why the capital's transport system had ground to a halt - when the service was actually running relatively smoothly.
TfL said that a bug had been detected, and that its web teams were working to fix it.
In the meantime, people were asked to look to TfL's website for detailed line information.
The problem appears to have started at around 8am, during the morning rush hour.
Anyone looking to see the status of lines was told that every line except the Docklands Light Railway was out of action.
TfL shares its service information with several apps using an API, and all of those apps which use the feed were affected.
One user wrote: "What's up with your line status API? Indicators say line closed, and service normal.
"Both Google Now and two other apps are showing "service closed" on all lines (still happening). API problem?"
At first, it said it had "not been advised of any issues", but later said that it was being fixed.
Within a couple of hours the feed had been fixed and apps were showing accurate information.
