Donald Trump has been using Adele's music on his campaign for American presidency without her permission, it has emerged.
The controversial property tycoon and TV personality has reportedly been using the star's songs such as Rolling In The Deep as "warm-up" music.
But the Oscar winner's spokesman confirmed: "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning."
Fans expressed their disdain on Twitter, with one writing she was "offended on Adele's behalf", while another questioned: "Does @Adele know that Donald Trump plays her songs at his rallies? I have a feeling she would not be pleased."
Trump came on stage to the hit song during a rally held in Lexington, South Carolina and he is believed to be a fan, having attended a concert in New York.
The White House hopeful faced a backlash last year when Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler forced him to stop using the song Dream On during campaigning.
Trump responded on Twitter saying he had the legal right to use the song, but had found "a better one to take its place".
He added: "Steven Tyler got more publicity on his song request than he's gotten in 10 years. Good for him!"
