A trailer for the world's first painted film has become an internet hit, gaining almost 10 million views on social media since it was first uploaded to the internet.
The clip from Loving Vincent shows artist Vincent Van Gogh's work being brought to life in a set of scenes animated in the style of his paintings.
The effect seen in the trailer is done by first shooting with the cast and then artists recreating the filmed scenes on canvas.
Around 85 artists are thought to be working on the project, which is being produced in Gdansk, Poland, by Breakthru Films, in order to finish the film by this autumn.
The film's director and script writer Dorota Kobiela, who studied fine art, came up with the idea for the film.
It features over 120 of the French post-impressionist's masterpieces and the plot is based on over 800 of his letters.
Loving Vincent stars Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan, Chris O'Dowd and Aidan Turner.
