Greg Boswell was attacked by a grizzly in Canada. These guys don’t look like they could do much harm.
A BRITISH thrillseeker has had a close brush with nature — battling a grizzly bear.
Greg Boswell was tackling Mount Wilson in Alberta, Canada, when he had his run-in with the wild animal.
Afterwards, he spent three hours scaling back down the mountainside, then a two-hour drive to get himself to hospital.
Greg said on Facebook: “OK. Crazy news from Canada! I’m going to put it bluntly, but would just like to let everyone know I’m OK, just a little shook up and sore!

“I got attacked by a grizzly bear last night and lived to tell the tale, and to make the three-hour descent and two-hour drive to the hospital.
“All stitched up now and on the mend. It’s a long story and I can’t be bothered to write it down just now. So here is a pic of me at the hospital. Sorry if you a squeamish.”
Greg, 24, posted images of his wounds on social media and even said he had to fight the grizzly off in order to escape.

Responding to one comment, he said: “a few left jabs to the jaw and it f***** off”.
Friends of the young Scot, who hails from Cupar, Fife, were quick to post messages of support.
Misha Nepogodiev said: “Bloody hell, glad you’re OK. Puts the dangers of Scottish winter climbing in perspective (no bears for a start). At least you got some great stuff done before this. Hope you get back into it soon.”
Meanwhile Joe Saunders joked: “I’m sure the bear is worst off than you camp! Good to know you’re OK”.
Greg Boswell posted these photos of his leg on his Facebook page.
