Facebook has launched its 'year in review' feature for 2015 - but this year it is cutting out the sad bits.
Last year its algorithm accidentally included photos of people's ex partners, blocked friends, and deceased loved ones.
This year Facebook says it has "applied a unique set of filters" to prevent unhappy memories from resurfacing.
The year in review appears as a stylised vertical card made of 10 photos.
If any photos which evoke sad memories make it through Facebook's filter, they can be removed, edited or replaced.
Facebook is apparently using the same algorithm used to power its On This Day feature.
That does not show photos of former partners or images from the memorialised accounts of dead people.
Last year a man wrote a blog post explaining how images of his late daughter had appeared repeatedly throughout his year in review.
In November this year Facebook began experimenting with new tools to help better manage their online relationships with old flames.
It now prompts users to try the new tools when they change their relationship status on the social network.
As a result, they can choose to "see less" from their former partner, and you will no longer be prompted to message them or tag them in future.
You can also limit what an ex can see about you, too.
