Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, it seems, is destined to sign a replacement for his first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, if the latest rumours are to be believed.

Mandanda joined Marseille from Le Havre in 2007 where he has since won one Ligue 1 title and three Coupe de la Ligues. Mandanda is currently France's No 2 behind Hugo Lloris.

Finally, the agent of Daniel Amartey, the Copenhagen defender, has said his player is 'ready to move' to a Premier League club and the 21 year-old has been linked with Liverpool.
"Many top established European clubs are interested in him," said Hasan Cetinkaya. "There are scouts who watch him in every game. Today, Daniel is ready to move quickly to join a club of a higher level."
Amartey has a release clause of £4.7 million.
