A HOTEL guest got a nasty shock when they pulled back the sheets on their bed for the night.
Worryingly, hiding among the sheets was a disturbing message from the previous inhabitant.
The note was scrawled on Courtyard Marriott hotel paper, which read: “If you’re reading this, then house-keeping did not change your sheets!”
After realising that the cleaners hadn’t found the note before him, the disgusted guest posted a snap of the letter online, The Sun reports.
He explained: “Heard something crinkle when I settled in for the night.”

Since it was posted onto Reddit last week, hundreds of internet users have responded to the filthy revelation, according to The Sun.
One commenter said: “I’m definitely going to start putting these notes in my hotel beds when I check out.”
Another said: “I’m going to add, ‘Thanks for changing the sheets. Your hard work is appreciated.’”
Another guest told their own harrowing hotel experience.
They said: “I walked into a hotel room once with an unmade bed, a half drank case of Busch (beer) under the sink, damp towels everywhere, and the TV on.
“It wasn’t even the wrong room and it was booked. Housekeeping just didn’t even go in that day.”
