British astronaut Tim Peake says a hot bacon sandwich was waiting for him when he arrived at the International Space Station (ISS).
The out-of-this-world snack was Major Peake's first meal on the orbiting station on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old has been using Twitter to keep space watchers on Earth up to date with his time on the ISS.
He said his stay so far has been "busy but incredible", adding: "amazing how fast the body adapts to new environment".
Referring to station commander Scott Kelly, he said: "What makes a good leader? Having a hot bacon sarnie waiting as my 1st meal on ISS. Boy that tasted good!"
On learning about the pork treat, some Twitter users started posting screengrabs of the intergalactic Muppets episode 'Pigs in Space'.
Major Peake is due to speak to the media for the first time since docking with the ISS.
He will appear via live video link at the European Astronaut Centre near Cologne, Germany, for 20 minutes at 2.15pm. It will be streamed live on Sky News.
Major Peake blasted off in a Soyuz FG rocket at 11am on Tuesday from a Kazakhstan cosmodrome along with his two colleagues - Russian commander Yuri Malenchenko and NASA astronaut Tim Kopra.
His duties during his six months on the ISS will include unpacking cargo from a spacecraft, spending an hour on the exercise bike and taking part in an experiment investigating the effects of radiation on bone marrow.
In April he will run the entire 26.2-mile London Marathon on a treadmill aboard the space station.
:: Watch Major Peake's news conference live on Sky News at 2.15pm
