A teenage film critic has been forgiven by comedian Amy Schumer after he attempted to make a joke about her sex life in a tweet.
Jackson Murphy, who runs the website Lights-Camera-Jackson, posted a selfie with the Trainwreck star at the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night on Twitter.
He told his followers: "Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that."
But the 17-year-old was quickly called out on Twitter by Schumer who replied: "I get it. Cause I'm a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad."
Murphy deleted his tweet and wrote: "I truly apologize for the tweet I posted earlier. I'm not a comedian and it wasn't funny."
He then sent Schumer another tweet which said: "Thought you’d like the joke. I should leave the comedy to you! Thanks for the photo. Glad you won last night!"
Schumer did let the teenager off but said she had found the tweet a "bummer" as she thought Murphy and his father seemed "sweet".
